The Horace Taylor Trust work together to support the local community in honour of Horace Taylor’s memory.
The Horace Taylor Trust was created to honour Horace Taylor’s legacy. He was a successful businessman and committed Methodist Lay Preacher, Horace devoted his life to the Driffield community, and upon his passing in 1974, he left a generous gift to support charities and organisations in the Driffield area.
Through the residue of his estate he ensured that Driffield and its neighbouring areas would flourish with resources to support growth, hope, and opportunity for future generations.
The Trustees of The Horace Taylor Trust administer the Estate and Trust. We meet on a monthly basis where we all take the opportunity to thoughtfully assess all the submitted forms that we receive. We discuss their potential impact and determine how our resources can best be allocated to help bring these projects to life.
We review each submission carefully to ensure every applicant is taken into consideration before we make our decision.
